Cindy Adams’ column today. In a different post Cindy Williams established that this sculpture was called “The Kiss” and was a Christmas gift from Nelson to Jeanette. So yes, this is Nelson’s interpretation of Rodin’s “The Kiss.” It was displayed very prominently in this scene from the 1942 film
I Married An Angel. I actually do not own or know the whereabouts of this particular sculpture, but am ever appreciative that Ms. Adams has over the years continued to be supportive of the importance of Jeanette and Nelson in popular culture and history, and in their love story. Thank you for the positive press!
